I look up at the starry sky,
And ponder whether I could’ve done things differently,
Would I be proud of my current deeds in the future?
The stars assure me,
They speak to me,
They inspire me,
They subtly say to me,
You’ve done your best, kiddo,
You know you have.
They’re trying to communicate,
State that I’m enough,
Everyone’s proud of my work.
They’re reassurance,
Makes me over the moon,
Not literally,
Cause the moon is there too.
In the night sky,
It’s the moons rule,
The stars respect him,
As he gladly shines.
He’s their king,
He’s so very pretty,
His silver body,
Shines brightly,
Sending beneath the pale moonlight.
A shooting star passes by,
Nudging me to make a wish,
I smile so gently,
This is what brings me peace.
Sitting here,
With all of them,
Is wonderful.
They’re amazing,
And I wish to shine as bright as them.
They’re my inspiration,
They’re my motivation.
They’re presence is all I need,
After a rough day,
Laying down after our conversation,
Keeps me at ease.
I look up at the night sky,
Every single day,
And go to sleep,
With glee on my face.
You are really doing great kiddo.
