My Bestie – The Swimming Pool

My Bestie – The Swimming Pool

I miss you,
You miss me,
We together,
Are a family.

That dive I took,
That flip I did,
What was so bad,
That you went away from me.

This COVID has ruined,
The connection between you & me,
What do I do?
I don’t have a special key.

The water that touches me,
Makes my heart flutter,
The Blue you have,
Is much better than butter.

Roses are red,
You are blue,
You miss me,
& I miss you.

The baby or the big,
Or the extra extra large,
You thought all to swim,
Wearing a cap as a wig.

What am I without you,
That water,
& that blue.

There is only 1 thing I want to say,
When can I come back,
& join you.

Bye to my dear friend,
That great swimming pool,
You have the water,
Always in your rule.
