The Box of Dreams – Part 2

Do you remember the time Skylar’s eyes fell on June’s precious box? Well, let’s continue the story then.

After June had politely declined Skylar’s wish, June ran downstairs to grab a cup of lemonade for her and Skylar. She didn’t want to make it very sweet so she decided to just put one spoon full of sugar. Meanwhile, Skylar was so attracted to that box that she was unable to get her eyes off it! The more she tried to look away the more the box attracted her. She looked at the box. Did the box have some kind of magnet? Skylar tried very hard not to open that box but somehow ended up opening it. But, It was just filled with papers! She ended up opening one with June’s wildest dream to become a world-famous pop singer. She also found some incredible songs written by June.

She heard some sounds, oh! It was probably June coming upstairs! She closed the box as silently as a mouse and quickly slid it back to its place. June came into the room and found Skylar trying to do a thing like a handstand or split or um. What she was doing? June was really confused but pleased that Skylar hadn’t touched her top-secret box. June handed Skylar a lemonade and Skylar jumped with joy until she drank it and was not so sure about the taste. ‘ It was a Lil salty!’ she said. ‘ But I liked it!’. So, June took that as a compliment.
